Illusions of progress
are easily acquired
as we advance towards eternity
along endless rocky roads
of perpetual error
and frequent terror.
But static transference
of corruptible mortals
is not so easy to grasp -
for movement towards
and movement away from
are simply a matter of changing
the cusp of a correlation
and affect eternity
not one jot.
