Out of Kilter

The world is more marvellous
than we can know.
Exaggeration is impossible.
Stupendous discoveries await all
with an inkling to conceive them.
But plodding pedestrian power
will never glimpse,
through its puritanical filter,
what throws poets
out of kilter.
